A nice change if you're looking for junk that's not the usual burger/chicken/pizza. It's a crap location if you're not already in town, but at night time especially you can park in the little car park behind M&S/The Hanbury and walk down the lane onto Oxford Street. If you aren't prepared to wait for your fast food though give it a few months as it's chaotic at the moment

7.5/10. Would recommend 🌮 🌯

I've never been in one, so I checked their menu on line the other day. It looked pretty decent and very cheap.

My favourite stateside fast food establishment when I was a resident there

It has a love it or hate it reputation over there, but make no mistake, its pure filth, and (usually) dirt cheap.

I don't know what the menu will be like, but the cravings box deal they sometimes run is outstanding.

If you want to eat crap then you can't do better than Taco Bell

I loves a Taco Bell.
When we were in Hawaii about 20 years ago there was a special off between 1pm and 2pm where you could buy 10 for $10.
We’d buy twenty,10 hard and 10 soft and sit on Waikiki Beach and eat them.

Taco Bell is regarded as a bit of a joke in the US to be honest. I love Mexican food but they serve garbage at these joints.

Quite partial to this type of “Mexican” food, there a chain in States called Chipotle, they do nice burritos.

Friend of mine from Texas just angrily said Taco Bell is NOT Tex Mex
Only thing she said was good are the spicy chicken grillers and to avoid 'the beef'

Haha not by Texan standards, no.

I keep giving false positives, but the taco beef is disgustingly good.

For what its worth, the different regulations regarding food standards in the US, and the UK, will probably make a huge difference between the relative franchises.

Not the sort of food I would eat as I don’t like cheese but the reviews on that site don’t make it sound that appealing

Seems 90% of the reviews are complaining about long waiting times on deliveries. New store factor coupled with Deliveroo and that's gonna happen

It ain't fine dining but that should go without saying

A lot of my Californian friends like the Taco / Burrito trucks that serve some great Mexican food. When they visit the UK it is the food that they moss the most, yet they do say that when they go back to the states they can never find a curry as good as the UK.

My friend Ron is Mexican and used to run a Mexican restaurant in the past he and still cooks a lot of traditional dishes at home. He would not be seen dead in a Taco Bell.
