• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I think we need more experience and a basic earthy style of man management. Thiz division is tough to get out of and hard to survive. Warnock is a good example of this point. I am really please Southampton have stumped up I must have been completely wrong about Martin.

Duff has noted we have experienced players in the squad. Hopefully he listens to them.
If the chatter of us being interested in some Newcastle players who have had their contracts expire (Clark & Ritchie) come to mind then we could have a fairly experienced team.

if he isn't like another Martinez or another Brendan then i am not interested in thinking this one is the messiah.

Does anyone here think we should push for the premier league?? Or are those days well and truly gone?

Should we settle for mid table mediocrity?

To get out of this league we need a Michu in his prime, or a Scott Sinclair in his prime, or a Pukki in his prime, the list goes on.

We got nothing.

Our run at the end of the season clearly showed we had a team good enough to make the playoff places. Will we have as good a team when the transfer window closes this year? I doubt it, but I hope so.
