• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Didn't mind them when the girls were there but much preferred the Peter Green period

It was their lucky day when that chance meeting with nicks and Buckingham happened

Rumours is simply one of the greatest albums ever

Good read that.

One of my all time favourite clips...

Great band with or without Peter Green, but I did prefer them with Peter Green RIP.

Was up in Wimbledon to watch the Tennis years back and they were playing in Wembley Arena and supported by the Adventures, so we went last minute, Fleetwood Mac were boring as fcuk whilst the Adventures were pretty good.

What exactly were you expecting from Fleetwood mac, cartwheels or something ?

Adventures were a cracking band and should have been big. I've got 3 of their CDs and 'Broken Land' was one of the best singles of the 80s IMO.

One of the best, and most polite, concerts I've been to was on the Tango In The Night tour. An acoustic Big Love followed by Landslide no more than 20 feet from where I was standing was really something to behold. Disappointed when Ms McVie rejoined as sadly her voice had seen far better days.

Was not expecting anything really, what brings you to that conclusion, they happened to be playing that evening, they have some decent hits so why not go, however after seeing them we left the arena with an opinion of what a boring live band they were.

One of my all time favourites.
