Silverstein replying to fans questions on here, quite a few long answers and explanations.

More flannel and bullshyte. They really think we're stupid.

It’s a sign of the times. They think we have no critical evaluation facilities and minds like goldfish. Often, it’s true. It’s why Trump and a succession of Tory sociopaths get so many votes.

His conversations on Reddit with swans fans.

We should be very, very worried. We are doomed.

funnily enough I've just been talking about about how patronising some people can be

A few things strike me when reading what he’s said.

He is literally gobsmacked that fans are unhappy with the owners when he truly believes that they are keeping the club afloat and gets quite angry when people don’t constantly praise them for that.

He doesn’t understand that there is any difference between US ‘sports’ and football here. He keeps talking about Levien’s and his experience of ‘sports’ while not recognising that they have absolutely no experience of British football.

He seems to truly believe that he has a ‘passion’ for the Swans that we should recognise. Same as his ‘passion’ for Houston whatever they are called was presumably all encompassing until he sold his stake and invested in a rival team. And his new ‘passion’ for Australian basketball. It’s just nonsense.

When they don't engage they are wrong, when they do engage, they are wrong.

Yes SOME people won’t be happy until and unless the club is back in the Premier league and the "Yanks" are gone. SOME people would be fine with being outside the PL and having the ‘yanks’, if they were competent at managing a British football club in a joined up way.

Edit I think (hope) most (sane) people are ok with the broad thrust of living within our means. Lisa is right though, he put money in to get a 5% return. Not as altruistic as it might seem. I’ll give them credit for converting to equity. They just need to set. Budget for each window and get out of the bloody way.

Your last sentance, he’s already confirmed In that thread that is something they won’t entertain as they don’t agree with that model.
