IF we went up, what would your approach be - spend and hope for the best, or look at the best in league 1/championship, take relegation and go up again?

Get our finances in order forever, hope to stay up but not give a shit if we do a Cardiff, or even a Sheffield. Put the long term plans in place.. It's too early to be worrying about that though.

Much like we did the last time. Spend £10m (with inflation probably £20m) on the team and see how it goes. Hope the system will be enough.

Not sure it will be but it's more important not to drop ourselves in the shit again.

i think our defence would be fine - sure chelsea would give us guehi for another year. Midfield and striker alongside Lowe would be priority (Joey Allen or Ben Pearson please)

No club with any common sense should ever throw a shit load of money at the cause and hope for the best

Go up, spend a bit, if it keeps you up then so be it but if you come down stronger on and off the pitch then even better

It starts to go wrong when you think you can compete financially with clubs who are far financially stronger than you

No way on Joe Allen. 31 next birthday and played outside the Prem (without doing an awful lot) for the last three years.

There will be better out there.

Hate threads with this title/chat. Have we learned nothing?

Now that's weird you mention Pearson, I've heard from a pne fan that he wants out.

I spent years gushing over getting Joey back, but he’s using a Zimmer frame these days surely. Is he still playing for Stoke? Lower league player now.

How very dare you Mr S, he isnt finished just yet, he will be running Wales' midfield in this years euros and imo would be worth a punt whether we are in the PL or not.

Only played twice this season. Injured by the looks of it.
