Watched “Pistol” last night by Danny Boyle. Was quite disappointed to be honest. Lots of airbrushing going on, where was the Lesser Free Trade Hall gig? Not even in the show.

I don’t agree with Lydon on many things but I can see why they would not show him the script as it was part fact part utter fantasy. I can now see why he was quite angry and upset over it. He would never have agreed had he been given access. I think even Malcolm McLaren would have blushed.

The guy playing Sid though had his accent down to a tee. The others looked like the imposters in that Rock n Roll Swindle video.

I haven’t seen it but I saw Rotten giving a talk in Porthcawl a couple months ago and the most impressive thing of all was that he swears more than me.
