Very sad to hear this. He was a great man not just a great player.
Recently he had a monument of himself unveiled in his home village, Felinfoel.
RIP and thanks for the entertainment 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏉

I saw photos of him at the unveiling and he looked very ill. Sad.

RIP.

I was lucky enough to see him start "that try" for the Barbarians against the All Black's. Sadly his like have no place in the modern game.

Just put this on swans independent

Met him and Ray Gravel in a small pub in Ferryside with my mum and dad, I was wearing my Neath kit and him and Ray started changing ‘Neath, Neath, Neath’. They came over and had a really nice chat with us, I was only about 10 and couldn’t believe these two legends were speaking to us.

Both of them were brilliant
