Surprised not to see a thread on the above already.
Great start by England and brilliant bowling by Lee Wood, who cut his teeth in the Hundred Series, also the reemergence of Alex Hales again thanks to the Hundred, not propper Cricket see :P

Re-emergence of Alex Hales thanks to the Hundred   that’s funny.

It's true though, he's out there because of his performances in the Hundred, as is Luke Wood.

Roy was having a mare towards the end of that tournament.
Hales fully deserves his recall.

He’s not though. Hales has been one of the world’s premier T20 batters for the entire time England have ignored him. There are two reasons he’s back in the squad now. 1 - Eoin Morgan is no longer captain and 2 - Jason Roy’s form fell off a cliff. Nothing to do with a few knocks against buffet bowlers in cartoon cricket. Hales has a track record of doing it against the best in the world.

You're just in denial

You're view on Luke Wood? another Hundred Super Star,

I don’t know much about him. Did well today though. Looks a decent prospect at T20 level. Good experience for him out there. Not in the World Cup squad though.

He's more than decent mind, he's quick and accurate and can bowl a variety of deliveries, I think he can go further than the white ball game, his age might be a barrier though at 27, I didn't realise he was that age pity that. :(

Top cricket punditry from Max though as his top tip Wood ships 50 in four overs and completely forgets how to bowl straight at the end. One for the future there.
