According to media reports in Turkey, Olivier Ntcham is due in Istanbul on Wednesday after an agreement to sign the midfielder was agreed with the Swans.

In a Twitter link this afternoon VTR Spor reports that a deal has been reached between Swansea City and Samsunspor who have just been promoted to the Turkish Super Lig.

We are also quite well stocked in his position, and Turkish clubs pay decent wages.

Unfortunately we're not well stocked with goalscoring midfielders so if true we definitely need a replacement

Ntcham has always been an enigma, when he is up for it he can boss a midfield and change a game including goals and assists.
However when he isn't he becomes anonymous and at worst a passenger.
The only consistency we have had from him is inconsistency.

A bit on the fence about this one but it wouldn't surprise me to see us sell for 1.5m rather than him leave for nothing especially given his alleged wage packet. If I remember correctly Turkish clubs have to disclose transfer fees so we won't see an "undisclosed fee" announcement here.

If he does go those goals will need replacing however, Paterson did the square root of fuck all last season and Walsh still has huge question marks over his ability to stay fit. Oli Cooper would lay a strong claim to that position but ideally we need someone with a creative eye for a pass as well as someone who can score goals. Both traits that would likely cost us more than 1.5m sadly especially together on the same player
