Steve Cooper was very coy on just how long the Swans could be without Marc Guehi but from his comments it does seem that we could be without the defender...

Think we could run with Bennett and Cabango, not sure Latib and Naughton works well in a 3. A better side would have finished us off by half time today

We’ve got strength in depth across the back line so we should not be worried. Latibeaudiere looks more and more accomplished each time I see him play.

Would like to see Guehi rested for Bournemouth anyway, would be good to have him in the mix for Cardiff though.

Would not mind seeing Bidwell and Manning play together. MG may have needed the rest with early season form appearng to surface. Manning Bennett Bidwell Naughton have good experience and I can see them doing well in the run in.

Manning for Grimes?

Think Ben plays against Cardiff purely from a height point of view. Bennett and Joel for me if Guehi unfit.

Let's not understate the return of Bennett, the guy is a fckn monster and he'll make sure the aerial bombardment next Saturday will come to nothing.

And he didn't play well yesterday, he will be well up for it next saturday along with all of them.

It’s no coincidence that we didn’t keep a clean sheet while he was out injured.

Cabango wins more aerials than Bennett.

I don't think they can play together, it’s either or for me unless we play aback 4 with full backs not wing backs.
If we continue to sit back and invite wave after wave of attack Bournemouth will punish us,lowly Luton exposed our defence yesterday.
Latti seems to be gaining support for doing not a lot! Both hand Guehi are very good defenders but not great CBs.

Gonna have to beg to differ there buddy, Cabango and Bennett in same line up fills me with plenty of confidence.

Agreed. The stats prove him wrong too.

Cabango and Bennett have only started 9 league games together (every time as part of a back 3 with wing backs). In those games, we have a record of 4 wins, 4 draws and 1 defeat. We conceded 6 goals in those 9 games. That's a slightly better goals conceded per game than in the games where they haven't played together.

More encouragingly, the last 4 games they've played together has seen only 1 goal conceded with 3 wins and a draw. I'd rather Guehi be fit, but Cabango and Bennett can clearly play together.
