I can't see why they'd choose Newcastle over the likes of West Ham (50,000 fans, London location), or even throw part of the £300,000,000,000 into getting Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool.

edit: not enough 000s. Too much money.

Another state sponsored vanity project to PR wash a terrible regime. More whiney entitled fans when they don’t win all the time. I still hope the whole rotten pile of shit crashes down, but it’s not going to, is it?

Propped up and supported by Westminster governments.

In 2019, around 6,800 UK VAT-registered businesses exported goods to Saudi Arabia, worth around £3.3 billion of exports. In 2019, around 800 UK VAT-registered businesses imported goods from Saudi Arabia, worth around £2.6 billion of imports.
UK has sold around £5bn of arms to Saudi Arabia during bloody Yemen conflict including torture equipment.

More whiney entitled fans when they don’t win all the time.
We can talk!

Good luck to em, but all will do is see massive inflation of price for fringe players. With the top 4/5 and now the Geordies, thers only so many top top players to go round. Sunderland fans must be pig sick.

Good call. With something like a maximum of 7 European Places up for grabs, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Yernited in pole position for 4 of them, Newcastle, who are light years behind are scrapping with the likes of Spurs, Leicester and then Arsenal who’ve been rubbish for a few seasons. Chuck in Everton and West Ham and it’s going to be tough to break top 8. They’ve got loyal fans, but it’s a lot of ground to make up.

Free money or what

Don't say that on the other site...all hell will break loose....

i can't help but think that this deal is going to be bad for football and ultimately for Newcastle as well

The Premier League takes football another huge step away from its roots

They'll be title contenders, no question.. their owners are estimated to be worth 320 billion.. and that's just the legal funds they earn, they're probably worth about 400 billion, most powerful family in the world, except the Queen etc

The Reuben brothers have taken a 10 percent stake which is a good PR move to get some Jewish as well as Muslim ownership , the Reuben brothers own ffos Las racecourse but I doubt either of them has ever been there
