I work in lots of different hospitals as a locum. Staying in hospital staff accommodation is a lottery at best.

Some (most) of the kitchens (and bathrooms) are horrendous and my current one has a creda starlight oven from the 70's! The microwave stinks. I've cleaned it, yet a few days later my 'flatmates' have soiled it again.

So I'm wondering whether buying a mini oven i could 'sneak' in to my room would be worth it.

Fire risk?

Not as long as you dont leave it unattended whilst it was on.

Get it bought you tight fucker🤣🤣

I would say no fire risk, a relative of mine bought one from Argos 8 months ago, and I'm surprised how good they are.. They just look like a microwave, but they do the bizz.. I have used it, very easy no heat really.

If your concerned about safety, as long as your about when it’s in use it shouldn’t be an s due, if you are worried maybe an RCD protected socket would help. Bound to be a sparky on here who could confirm it would be ok.

You don't need a sparky mate, for advice, those mini ovens are good to go.

So basically it's a "combination microwave" without the microwave?

It's certainly small enough to 'sneak' in so if it suits your technical needs, I'd go for it at that price.
