• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Does Fisher come back in? "Errr....no need for that at the moment" 🤣🤣🤣

Some of the things he says makes you think, 'yeah, ok, sounds spot on', but, Jesus, that stuff about Martin was truly stomach turning. Like a little child about his hero.

Don't know what you expected him to say, he was asked and he wasn't going to come out and say he is sh*t and deserved to be sacked.

I expected him to be professional, not like he's talking about the best manager that ever lived. Sounded like he thinks that he (Williams) is not fit to lick his (Martin's) boots. Did you listen to what he actually said? 'Russell is a good manager that I'm sure will do a good job wherever he goes next' would have been absolutely fine.

The fact that Williams thinks so highly of Martin is a concern, and goes a long way towards explaining certain "eccentricities" about the way LW manages the side. The apple doesn't appear to have fallen a long way from the tree.

He's correct in what he's saying that we lose concentration around the 70 minute mark and he makes subs to go all out rorkes drift style.. but the main reason is our fitness levels.. they haven't got it right all season, the two that get tired the most are Tymon and Franco.. is Grimes doing enough off the ball work.. Franco is closing down space and attempting to nick balls for 70 minutes 100mph.. the big problem about that is he has to come off and we go backwards.. Joe Allen isn't fit enough to do this.. so my main place I'll be looking for is another midfielder.. because Fulton has shown he's simply gone at this level
