Llandrindod used to be my first stop on one of my runs when working for the NHS. I can’t say I’ve spent much time there or really had a good look around other than the doctors surgery and greggs looks like a nice little town from my experience of the place, plenty of old people there though I did notice.

Isle of Wight in March , ghost town .

Tredegar at about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon was a bit desolate.

Anyone been to Peterlee in Co Durham? Not just desolate, also voted in the the top 3 most dangerous small towns in Co Durham. Went there with a work client once to look at a problem at a local convenience store and it was hard to see the store because of all the steel bars over the doors and windows. It was like Fort Knox. Couldn't wait to get back in his car and get the hell out of the place. Was just glad it was daylight!

Was up there yday with work, 1hr and 40 there, hr to do job and 1hr 40 back, your not fighting when you are marching or driving in my case :lol:

If you go up past Glyn Neath, Penderyn, Brecon there is a good short cut avoiding Builth Wells centre.
Straight after Erwood there's a right turning over a bridge. The road runs parallel to the A470 on the other side of the Wye and comes out just above the showground.
