Last manager with real connection to fans

I was thinking back to when I felt a real connection with our manager - probably as far back as Laudrup and Brenda. Met both of those on numerous occasions inside and outside football and they really got it.

Potter definitely got it too. Imo the biggest loss of all in recent years. Would have loved another couple of years with him in charge. It was just starting to get interesting but then he left.

And quite possibly with Duff is where it could come crashing down. Last number of managers have clearly had designs on moving up the scale wether we thought they were good enough or not...they've all done it. With Duff, I can only see bottom half of championship or league 1.
