It certainly seems that Martin wants his wing-backs to be defenders first and attackers second. The main exception I can think of in his time here would be Wolf, with Manning, Lati, Sorinola all offering more in defence than attack.

Doesn't offer much hope to Oko-Flex (unless Martin sees him playing more centrally) and raises questions about why Stevens is not getting a look-in, much like Ogbeta before him.

I was at the game in Portsmouth yesterday and i can tell you, he stood out from the crowd and had an excellent game all be it at league 1 level.
He's been consistently good at Oxford since he's been there.

A quick look at transfermarkt puts him at 5 goals and 1 assist in 12 games (a total of 924 minutes) for Oxford so far this season.

Seems like he has played a blend of centre forward, right wing and right wingback over that time.

Joseph, Whittaker and Ogbeta might be given a chance now.. but performing at League One isn't a given they'll perform in the championship, but it didn't put off Britton, Williams and Rangel.. so you never know
