How do you react to this story ‘if’ it is true?

The poor bloke is only on £1.2 million a month..give him a break mun.

Don't blame him mind, how can anybody survive on 310K a week.

Just wondering how many nurses could be financed for a year on his weekly wage.

The sad thing is, someone else will offer him the money if City don’t.

In other news, there are reports that Lewis Hamilton has turned down $40m a year from Mercedes because he wants $50m a year.

They aren’t in the real world, but I guess we don’t know how we would react in that situation either.

£300k a year would be pretty obscene for playing football, even with the ‘pressure’ they are under...let alone £300k per week.

It’s his prerogative.

I think most people would be a bit chunked if they found out that a colleague was earning more than them despite not being not as good at their job... I know I would.

But I don’t get paid £millions either mind

I want to comment but the whole thing I’d too ridiculous. Football can fuck off sometimes.

He could pay my mortgage off by dinnertime. If it wasn't for the knock-on effect on regular businesses hiring regular people, I'd look forward to the bubble bursting

I honestly thought the pandemic may well be the bubble bursting but, as has been shown since it all started, football thinks it is largely immune from it and continues to pay the stupid money.

What Itchy said from there on in
