Is he done for the WC?

Just listening to Martin's comments; it doesn't sound good to me at all.

Nah he'll be fine, he was never going to play for us again before the finals as soon as he got crocked

Yes, Martin talking about the importance of the WC to Allen.

He will have to play some games to get back upto match fitness.

That's fine, but he's got a commitment to Swans as well. Its virtually his last hurrah with Wales though so its understandable, I wish him well and hope he'll come back fit and healthy and help us.

Think at his age his body is catching up with him and limiting his playing time with his injuries, he started very young due to his qualities shinning through and perhaps injuries are catching him up.

Him and King Leon were class together fair play.

I still can't believe we signed him. We've not missed him.

I get that particular train of thought but personally I can’t wait to see him in a swans shirt again and I know I’ll feel a sense of pride if he pulls on the Wales shirt in the World Cup. Just call me a soppy tw@t.

He was supposed to be our replacement for Flynn Downes. What was the point of signing him if we were under the impression he was only going to be a bit part player for us. Didn't we learn anything from our time in the Premier league where we had a catastrophic policy of signing ex players that never worked out.

Said the same before he signed, got shot down on here from the home boy fans.

Nowt wrong with that, it's hardly a regular occurrence.

I just thought Martin was totally non committal when asked if he’d be fit for the WC. It’s obviously a tricky injury that is as yet not bottomed out fully.
