Swansea City appear to be heading in several directions at the moment – the most worrying one is that its a team heading towards League One with the inevitable current position seemingly that we are heading towards another managerial change.  Is Michael Duff’s Swansea City career to last just eight...

Managing to get past a weak Sheffield Wednesday is irrelevant, pull the trigger now if we have any intention of staying in this devision, it's a no brainer...

I've scanned all parts of social media to see if there's any support for him. There isn't, for the first time in a long time, we are all on the same sheet. If the powers that be care, then we need to go again with a manager that does as well.
His post presser was embarrassing and anyone with a brain cell should be seeing straight through this guy......simply must be replaced or it will be too late to recover the situation.

"It's about sticking to the process."

Hmm we had another manager who said that

"You build teams on foundations, on solid foundations, on non-negotiables"

Hmm we had another manager who said that.

""All I can ask today is that the players give me everything. I think when the final whistle blew and there's five or six dropping to floor because they've given absolutely everything."

I saw players drop to the ground more from disappointment for not holding out.

""I had a text from the chairman this morning," he added. "And I had a text from the owner over the weekend. The Saturday game magnifies it because of who it is."

Questions are being asked

""It wasn't a brilliant performance. But it's been explained to them why because there were two weeks where we worked on things and then on actual matchday the players are doing their own thing"

Well admitting that shows a massive problem.

An observation from last night.

I think it was when Key was injured and there was a pitch side huddle with Duff and drinks etc.

It looked like the first player to walk away back on to the pitch before the rest was Grimes.

An indicator that the rumours of him and Duff not seeing eye to eye?

Of course Grimes and him won’t see eye to eye… we’re not trying to play football completely unsuited to Grimes. The game bypasses him in midfield… Grimes wants the play to go through him, playing the ball on the floor. I’d be cheesed off if I were Grimes too… this team isn’t suited to direct football.

His body language and demeanor tells you he won't be here long.
I think he wants out. (Like them all he ain't gonna walk).

No doubt, but as captain he should show professional attitude in full view of fans.

The club has problems from top to bottom.

I've seen the U21's this season and they are playing a better style, much to what we were lead to believe the first team would play.

Shame the aren't ready as a bloc to play instead.

With every word, I think more and more like that. It's as if he's giving the owners the opportunity.

Graham Potter from an article in the mirror.

The report goes on to outline that Potter is relaxed about a potential return to the dugout and is willing to wait for the right opportunity to present itself before diving back into work, preferably with a club who can offer Champions League football.

Do you think the got Champions and Championship mixed up ;)

He’s united our fan base after 4 years? That’s a hell of an achievement, fair do’s. 🤣

I can’t believe we’re talking about changing manager less than ten games in to a season, but the optics, and the metrics, are not good.

I don’t believe he’s a terrible clueless manager but something is clearly not right and it would take some nerve and a strong chairman not to pull the trigger. I’m sure he’ll get it right eventually but how long does eventually take?

I’d give him another four or five games before looking elsewhere if needs be, but it’s obvious that we’re downgrading managers with each successive appointment in the same way we are the playing squad and the rot has to be stopped. As much as people moan about jobs for the boys we need someone who understands and it needs to finally be Tosh Jnr with an experienced sideman.
