I added a slice of bread to this little beauty to mop up the juice, not a fan of mango so added a splash of Worcester sauce instead, very nice it was too 😋

Chicken Shashlik, pilau rice and Bhuna sauce.

8/10

I have taken 1 point off, the rice looks a little overcooked. And also another point off because there are no chips.

Prawn patia with onion fried rice (Panshee)

10/10 Looks absolutely fantastic, rice is cooked to perfection as well, I love the way it glistens, unlike the overcooked rice in the picture above.

I disagree, the rice looks like it hasn't been cooked at all ... 🧐

On second thoughts, I have adjusted my score, it's 7/10.

One point off for the rice overcooked, another point off for no chips. And I have taken a further point off, because the waiter put it on the table, not over your head.

Glistening rice? Hark at Gordon Ramsey!

Darran, that’s pretty much the perfect combo. Swap the shashlik for a tandoori mixed grill and you’re also on a winner.

Rate your plate: a score of 10. The side dish sauce ensures maximum points.

I know sorry, I was just pulling Darrens leg, I'm quite envious of all the dishes on here, of all the pictures of the main meal, I have never tried one, not one. I seem always to stick to the just a plain old fashioned chicken curry and chips, never experimented with anything else.

I wish, seriously how could anyone walk in a restaurant , and then order something they have never tried before? Like it could be a mistake that could cost 15 or 20 plus? Although the missis informs me that she wants to go down the India India buffet, so maybe that could give me an opportunity to try some different dishes.

Have you tried that Spice Tailor butter chicken yet? Really quick and easy to make, I knocked one up last night after a few late afternoon shandy’s and it being too late for a Just Eat.
