Bring him home.

I remember what happened the last time he signed for us.

Still only 29 too!

Many say we should not look back at players we have signed previously. I don't subscribe to that. If they are good enough then go get them.
A lot of water as flowed under the bridge since Fabio played for us. He is still reactively young, has masses of experience and has proven to fit in with our passing style. Probably had the best spell of his career with us.
If this comes off then I suspect Ayew will be going today so this could happen sooner than we think.
He is a year or so younger than Andre as well....

Since he left us 9 years ago he’s scored 32 goals,3.5 goals a season.
‪Is this the cheap option to cheer up the fans when Joe goes for a pittance? ‬

He’s a free agent so it doesn’t have to happen today.

Id rather have Borini on a permanent than Kasey Palmer from Bristol on loan

We’re offering Borini a pay as you play deal.

A quick look at his wiki and it looks like he's been deployed in a number of positions, including wing-back, so goals wouldn't always have been his main objective.
He was deemed good enough to go from Parma, to Liverpool (gloss over Sunderland) to Milan and then Verona (who experienced a drastic upturn in form when he arrived as well, though, how much of this was actually down to him is anyone's guess).

I reckon Fabio would bring a lot to our team if not a 20 goal a season striker.

This . Whilst it's clearly the case that he#s lost his way and hasn't been an out & out goalscorer for many years it's still a fact that he played regularly for Milan and in different positions. And did ok in Seiae A. we are in the Championship and the drop in quality shouls free him up a bit once he's up to speed. He could offer plenty and would give his all.

Agree with giving him a chance, given his previous experience with us; it might work for him and us. His free kick taking should also be better than what we currently have as well :)

Must be a suggestion from one of our directors. You know, that geezer with the big nose. What's Shechter doing these days, worth another punt you reckon?
