If there is one thing that we should have learned from the recent fixtures is that it is the age old definition of insanity which simply says that the definition is “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results” rings very true for Swansea City at the moment. Quite simply...

Fulton simply has to start for Hourihane (Cooper won't drop goldenbolloks Grimes), going to need his physicality from the offski, Bidwell for Manning, Guehi (hopefully) for Naughton, personally I'd start Whittaker ahead of Lowe, at least it will be 11 v 11 then.
Woodman would also be benched but like Grimes he won't be. Pick the bones outa that...

Agree with all of that except Fulton for Hourihane. Fulton gives away too many free-kicks that cost us territory and possession.

Hourihane gives away sloppy passes so it balances out, I’d go with Fulton for this one.

For me, Fulton, although he does cough up the ball far too easily, will give e us physicality, the only player on our books that offers us that, would be making the best of a bad situation

Woodman
Roberts, Bennett, Naughton, Guehi (if fit otherwise cabango) Bidwell
Grimes, Smith, Fulton,
choose one of Hourihane, Whittaker or Lowe.
Ayew

Ben Cabango has to play. A) to look after their Hail Marys and B) him and Connor R are our most likely goal scorers in any match.

We could start by bringing back 3 of our best defenders in Bids, Guehi and Cabango. I know Cooper wants to use the whole squad, but having almost a new back 5 in the last match wasn't the brightest move (unless we have injury problems).

The ref seems card happy, so if Fulton starts, he needs to reign the challenges in a little. Also, Woodman should have been benched a few games ago, not the derby now though. Too much pressure on his replacement - it's a fixture that creates heroes, and villains. After the derby, yes. Whittaker for Lowe no brainer, the latter on the bench please. Personally, I like Grimes and even when he's slightly off, he contributes.

Fulton needs to play along with cabango for their physicality.

Whittaker definitely needs to play as he looks sharp and he will test the cloggers they have at the back, we need to show attacking intent from the off.

Cooper may surprise us, but most people would be able to predict at least nine of the starting lineup.

I'd be very, very surprised if Whittaker starts.

So who do you think will start up front Doc? Ayew and hourihane?

Surely Lowe cannot start as he absolutely shagged, whittaker should start imo as he will champing at the bit.
