• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Decent to be fair. Mother in law arranged a block booking in the Tivoli suite for her other half's 80th.

But my god the traffic around Parc Tawe is a skip fire!

We used to go there quite regularly mainly for a drink and sometimes lunchtime food/snacks etc, to many staff changes and price increases eventually put us off.

Bonnie Tyler was in there a couple of years ago when I was last in, drinking a half of Camden Ale

Hope you reported her for breaching that restraining order.

Decent price that skip.
Tho I've had a punt on Humphries for the World title. Managed to get 10/1.

Just had a look, Clayton and Josh Rock both 28/1.. they're capable of top class darts.. and in Clayton's case he's won a few.. but Rock has the biggest "potential" bracket in a few years

I know Jonny ( not name dropping), and he's suffering badly the loss of his dad. They were really close. Gonna take him a while.

Mrs Birthday today so we popped out for a latish lunch ended up in West Cross Inn turned out to be disappointing unfortunately, we then went up to The Lighthouse primarily to look at the sea and the views and ended up having coffee and cake in The Lighthouse [formerly Castellamare} very nice and reasonable to in fairness.

Bit of a outsider here when it comes to posh nosh food .

Is it bragging rights , last Summer went to Langland Brassiere for my Sisters Birthday , 5 family attendend £120 bill .

Her call for Venue , I went along and paid the bill , my input was a pizza and a shandy , good to meet up though.

How can they charge these prices , Sea Bass £28 , just caught on The Gower mind , makes it easier to digest .

Take me back to the Old Rossis Chippie in Hafod , before the Stadium shop opened , Rissole and Chips , best ever .

Robbie, pop along to the Roma Fish & Chip Shop up on top of Townhill/Cockett on the road leading down to Sketty, lovely Rissole and Chips there.

I agree with your opinion on the Old Rossis Chippee, it was quality.
