I’d have him back hear in a beat.

So would I

As far as the abuse, just shows how sick minded some people can be.

He went for too much too soon. Chelsea is a cesspit of a club and should be avoided, but as much as I have a soft spot for Potter, his mild manner betrays his utter arrogance and relentless ambition - that’s what got him in this mess in the first place, and no club or job is worth it. He should walk, but for reasons previously mentioned, he won’t.

Had a decent squad in his season here , a 20 goal a season striker( Mcburnie) Dan James , and several other decent championship players, and yet he couldn't even get us in the play offs. Not for me thank you.

Couldn’t coach a team with reasonable centre halves to defend in the air either. Any time the opposition had a corner, free kick or throw in our half of the pitch you always knew that there was good chance of it landing in our net.

Not that I disagree entirely but no manager is going to turn down the Chelsea job, bar a handful managing elite clubs.

Massively overrated.
Pep said he’s the best English coach in the world, out of who I’m not sure mind.

Wouldn't say how good he is, but I do think that if he'd stayed we would be better to watch.

Who knows though, as not everything is in control of the manager/coach.

So over rated that Brighton were 5th when Chelsea headhunted him and had just dicked over Man Utd 4-1 (and it could easily have been 6 or 7).

Absolutely appalling behaviour.
We all get angry and frustrated with football, but come on death threats, guys at the end of the day it's a game, it's not real life, there are bigger and important things to worry about.

Not in the same league as Rogers for me. Not in my top three managers certainly. Seemed a nice enough chap though. Massively overrated.

Death threats or any kind of personal threats are gang out of order mind.

Wether hes a nice guy not up for question....he is.
But death threats...jesus wept.
Weve called Russ a useless cvnt, but never should that line be crossed.

I would watch Potters Swansea ahead of anything served up by Cooper or Russ
