I have just read about Sweden: they are heading to the World Cup despite finishing bottom of their qualifying group, losing six of eight games, only collecting two points and having a GD of -8. Well and truly saved by the Nations League play offs!

I just found a photo of the macaw on my phone. Amazing looking back in time, haven’t seen this in years. And yes, we also found the marina a bit naff with not much there. Sevilla this evening, €8 for a glass of wine and a pint in a downtown bar.

I was going to say 12 years but my wife did a count back and reckons it’s 15. Time flies, eh?

That little grid of streets full of bars and restaurants makes some fond memories for me. Haven’t been there for years, it wasn’t overly commercialised back then and I hope it has kept its quaintness.

We are moving on tomorrow which is a shame, could have done with an extra night. It’s the week of Semana Santa, which my wife wanted to see; I’m not religious by any stretch of the imagination, but even I am a little bit in awe of the scale of the nightly parades.
