• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The fish rots from the head down. The head was chopped off (left us for more money) in the summer. The residual rot is all but expunged, with a large dose of (uber antidote) Duff, Sheezy and now hopefully Luke.

JAnet defo needs a presence: ‘Way down by the sea, Where you can follow Swansea, Swansea City’s Frenzy’ - over the next few days - both The Secret and The Observatory will be in a proper frenzy, by all accounts 😉

Williams apologies for Bournemouth FA Cup shambles

? As one of the top 10 posters across all Swans forums, you’re better than that. Bournemouth are joint 4th in the EPL form table for the last 10 games - alongside Man City and Arsenal. It takes a new manager at least 10 games to bed in - after which Iraola has very cleverly rocketed Muff into...

Looking forward to this and see how we kick on. Encouraged that they've been working hard since yesterday lunchtime to properly learn the lessons, adapt tactics and build team cohesion. Being chucked in the deep end is ideal for someone like LW to accelerate the collective learning curve.: 3...

Williams apologies for Bournemouth FA Cup shambles

I think we should cut LW some slack - up against one of the best young managers in The Prem. Big respect to Grimes’ very very good midfield’ https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/24077998.afc-bournemouths-head-coach-andoni-iraola-approach-swansea/

    Transfer window

I said we were close to landing a top notch CB, along with landing Oli McB who was also pushing to come back. Which was the case at the time. Let's hope we land both targets, + a pacey wide player up top. We desperately need to ditch suicidal Martinball defending and get back to Cooperball...

that's a bit bonkers isn't it. why would you want to get rid of owners who are spending record amounts ? and giving it their best shot with 'next level' funding we were unable to raise with our last ownership ? ofc we need a Trevor Birch but Birch doesn't grow on trees. a proper sporting...

he's the obvious weak link. his Luton ++ likely won't work for us. record £ signings in the last window (as Luke referred to in his presser) by our new investors with massive skin in the game - but we now need an injection of Dillwyn's dream, along with Luke's gap analysis (as long he's...
