    Strange decision?

I’ll always remember one year in the 80s, we played Cardiff away on the Boxing Day, then had Hereford Utd home on the 27th. How things have changed.

    Strange decision?

For the EFL to have fixtures on Monday 29th Dec which is a working day over the holiday period. Would loved to have gone to Oxford for the away fixture, but work commitments prevent me from doing so. Surely they could’ve pencilled in Sunday 28th as a date?

McClean kicking Ronald in the back of the head

Don’t forget the tossers in the east stand with the Ulster flag. What’s that all about? Fckin embarrassing

Some questions after tonight's game ...

Great win. Cant fault players for effort and endeavour I thought the midfield 3 of Widdel, Franco and especially Staminic played well. Staminic was a threat and was always driving forward. So much so, his teammates couldn’t keep up, then he had to stop, regress and either pass sideways or...

FA Cup Third Round - Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion

Yep. Their Keeper kelham O’hanlon had a blinder in goals that day. Very windy too if I remember.

    Cardiff v Chelsea.

I’d like to think the Martinez league 1 side of 2007/08 would take this league 1 Cardiff side to the cleaners.

    Cardiff v Chelsea.

Tbf Cardiff have more than matched a Chelsea side albeit a much changed one. I also like the keeper they have on loan. His distribution has been really good so far.

FA Cup Third Round - Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion

I remember the Rotherham game too. Played in pissing down rain. We were getting into some sort of groove under Yorath at the time. Like you say after the 4-0 drubbing in the replay it all went tits up for the season, then Frankie came in and saved the day!

    Next Friday

Hope we smash them. They’ve got themselves a superiority complex since Hollywood came along. Before that they were nobodies in Welsh football. Look at the archives from the 80s and 90s, they were averaging 2000 crowds even in league 1. I’ve heard a few say ‘it’s great for Welsh football’. On...

    27 Points Needed - 9 Wins

That’s the frustrating thing. In the past you had half a dozen or so sides you’d know were nailed on for promotion/ play offs. Let’s be honest, who’d have thought that Coventry would be running away with the league? Playoff candidates yes. And Hull, Preston and Millwall all doing well. That...

FA Cup Third Round - Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion

I remember we drew them in 86/87 in the 3rd rd. Albion were a struggling division 2 side and we were riding high in the old 4th Sean McCarthy scored a last minute winner to give us a 3-2 win down the Vetch.

    Some Of Our Fans Today

I was at Bristol last week. The no of young lads in the toilets at half time, who were openly discussing taking the white powder opened my eyes!

And Celtic warned us, then laughed when we payed what £7M?

We need proper football people in

Players have to be accountable. End of. Where was the leadership again today on the pitch? Too many of them think they’re probably better than they are. We’re a physically weak side and as for fitness, I’d like to see what they do in fairwood. Matos likes playing a high press game. He’ll soon...

    Craig Bellamy

I think he’ll have a decent career in club management. Seems to have mellowed as a person compared to when a was a player. For a Cardiff lad, he’s very complimentary towards Swansea. I for one wouldn’t be against him managing us down the future if the opportunity arose.

    Leo Walta

We make these signings, then let them rot on the bench. Widdel being a prime example. Whenever I’ve seen him play, he’s given us energy and forward momentum. Ah that’s it, no wonder he’s on the bench then. He’s too far attack minded. Silly me.

    Santos

Can’t understand the hate on this one. All of our centre half’s have been pretty shyte this season tbf, maybe Casey is the best of a bad bunch.
  18. T

You can blame Williams, Sheehan and maybe later on Matos..

But the shower of shyte taking to the pitch shouldn’t be devoid of any criticism. Call yourselves professionals? The great Liverpool, Utd and Arsenal teams of the past for examples had great leaders on the pitch. Who did we have yesterday? Absolutely no one. Maybe the signings in the summer and...

    Relegation? Should We Be Worried?

How many times did we fail to beat the first man? It’s criminal that a professional can’t do that.
