    Colours Nailed and all that

Aside from Galbraith can we really say any of our signings have been a success? Hopefully these boys kick on 2nd season but it could be argued with that we spent quite a bit on players who haven't delivered or delivered consistently enough.

This is the thing, we can't ignore the things at hand and then talk it down to save face because it starts feeling like it's excuses or even is. We have a very good keeper. As one poster said,Galbraith is in the top of RB in this league. Tymon an experienced champ left back. 2 more than capable...

    Colours Nailed and all that

Matos will be fine with us, he has turned things around although our away form is an issue. We will need players to improve or get better players. We need players like Eom,Ronald, Inoussa and Widell to start producing better offensive outputs. Walta is to early with us to judge but given our...

We have been led to believe that Galbraith is our Trent Alexander so that would make Ben out Virgil Van Dijk! Jokes aside, I like Cabango as a player but I can't deny that he has had a dip in form the last few weeks.

I was reading that Ronald,Eom, Widell and Inoussa have played 121 games between them. They have scored 4 goals between them and have 9 assists. Tymon has 7 assists alone!

Maybe bringing Ward in for his experience and/or going with 2 holding midfielders rather than 1. Things are great at home but that's being hurt with our away from being so poor.

Something needs to change away from home. If that is the formation or something else....there is certainly an issue somewhere.

Your last part is correct. We sit 16th on game 35 with 46 points, we were sat 16th last season on game 35 with fewer points. It's personally been an opportunity for more clubs this season. We certainly spent enough to argue that we could be doing better than we are position wise this season...

There needs to be several improvements in places if we think it will take several windows to compete to that level.

Would that apply if you get 50 points one season and get relegated but stayed in the league with 46 points the previous?

Given the spend since the summer then you would expect a bit more from things. Basing our best season since you say on points despite being 16th currently suggests that the league is poor which tells a story in itself. In fact, I think we were 16th after 35 games last season? I could be wrong...

Wake up call today, we have had a few of them this season. Despite the odd sign here and there, we are certainly an average team/squad. A lot of questions to be asked come the end of the season.

The worse penalty call this season that was not given for us was at home v Millwall. Their centre half pulled Vipotnik back with both his hands when right in front of goal from a cross from the left. Shocker.

Anyone wish to discuss the RB situation then please add it to the relevant thread. Surely it's becoming one of the elephants in the room.

    The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

Luckily you and I are giving our views from a forum and luckily we have Matos calling the shots on the playing staff. That's all I can say 😬👍
