1-1. We concede early, then score around the 75th minute and hold out for another decent point.

Walta hasn’t played football in 3 months, we’re not likely to see the best of him until next season imo. I wouldn’t even put much stock in his performances until he is ready for multiple 90 minutes.

Poorest first half I’ve seen live under Matos but could have won in the second with the Yalcouye chance and so many wasted uncontested headers. Think the initial selection proved wrong even though I may not have said it at the time. There might be a lesson in there about having that control in...

Was surprised at how poor they looked down here when we beat them. We weren’t great either on the night. Not expecting it to be like that at their place.

Would love us to make play-offs but the league is the most competitive it’s been for a long time imo. Not sure we’re quite ready for it anyway. Need to give Matos what he needs in the summer and get recruitment right to really have a go next season.

Not a good watch today but they are an awkward team to play against. Probably one of the best I’ve seen in transition against us down here. Vipotnik the difference today, quality chances were sparse for both sides but Zan showed up when it mattered. Best win of the season for me, came...

    Bobby Wales

Huddersfield seem to have dropped off in the last couple of games, stats say they haven’t been good in attack over the last few games and I thought they looked awful in the second half on the weekend. Hopefully it’s just the environment because whenever we’ve seen Wales (which hasn’t been much...

    Congreve

Congreve did quite well at Bromley too didn’t he. There does look a player there. Hope him and Lissah prove good enough to play for us next season.

    Vipotnik - Top Scorer (Championship)

I know what you mean about the pace thing, I’ve said before I think it’s the only thing that would maybe put PL teams off with Vipotnik. That being said, Vip and Agyemang are totally different players don’t think you can judge either by each others game.

    S25/26| The Official Match Thread | Derby 2 Swansea 0 | Att: 27,841 | 14/02/26 | The EFL Championship | Pride Park Stadium

Good post. We don’t have enough quality to play against a low block and it holds us back in games where teams sit off us. Eustace is the type of manager who will happily surrender the ball against possession sides from what I’ve seen of his teams (makes you wonder why he was seen as an option...

Think there’s an added level of disappointment to the fact that if we’d have won today, we’d have equalled Derby for points and been closer to the play offs with two home games coming up. Missed opportunity. Eustace is a shrewd manager and can play stifling Warnock ball with the best of them...

Just seen the score, massively disappointing as I thought we might be in for a win today with their poor home form. How have we actually played? A good performance at least?

    Bobby Wales

I get that and saw that he had an assist midweek but only got 11 minutes + extra time today. Hope he can play his way into their team. I saw the second half, Huddersfield looked awful and were just lumping it up to Wales, it looked a tough one for him. Hope we’ve chosen the right team to send...

On the Bench for Huddersfield today. Hope that’s not a regular thing for him. Needs playing time.

    New Deal For Jay Fulton

I think this is an okay deal for us, especially on reduced terms. If/when we sign a starting right back, Galbraith and Stamenic will be two good options for the base of midfield and then Fulton as a solid 3rd choice, we could be in a worse spot, I don’t see the negative here.

    New Deal For Jay Fulton

Has played really well under Matos and means we don’t have to buy another holding midfielder with both him and Stamenic there. Nice to have options!

    Vipotnik - Top Scorer (Championship)

If he does get a move, I can see it being abroad. He’s already shown in Ligue 2 that he could hit goals (10 for a struggling Bordeaux side is more than decent at 21 years old). With his added experience here, I could easily see him playing in Ligue 1. Fernerbache have been spending money...

    Playoff Structure Change

I enjoy it in its current form as well but the decision to open it up in the 90s was purely profit driven and I’d argue it has somewhat diluted it. They keep doing it with European competitions, look at the Conference League, we’ll end up with European spots all down the league eventually just...

    Playoff Structure Change

Not a fan of this. It’s like opening up more Champions League places so it’s no longer actually the champions competing. It’s just another way for them to add games to the schedule and hype up games for more money. Think 6 is stretching it as it is.

    Eni Aluko

Like any pundit, she has had good and bad takes on things. Simon Jordan doesn’t come off too well here. Saying that Aluko has been fortunate because of DEI programs when she has over 100 caps for England and has had an excellent club career, is just a bit daft really in my opinion. Not sure...
