    Radio Wales after the game

I wonder if they’re pretty much writing off this season for him and waiting for him to have a full pre season? Don’t agree with that myself though - I’d have though 5-10 thirty minute appearances would only help him get used to the league ready for next season.

A bit more experience in the squad in case we ended up in a relegation battle? In hindsight I agree though, better off keeping Parker in the matchday squad the way things have panned out since January.

What is going to happen between now&end of the season?

Not sure where the last paragraph has come from. I didn’t say anything of the sort. My point was that predicting the last 6/7 games in any EFL season is pretty futile as they rarely follow the pattern of the previous 40. Only have to look at Sunderland last season to see the extreme example of...

What is going to happen between now&end of the season?

Not sure what the 3 point prediction is based on? You have to be horrendously bad to lose 6 of the last 7 games in an EFL season with so many teams either with nothing to play for or struggling under pressure at either end of the table. Nothing we’ve seen in the last 4 months suggests we’re...

    Radio Wales after the game

Do you think the club (or many clubs for that matter) recruit for a particular manager’s system? I’d suggest it’s more a case of strengthening areas we’re weak based on players available, cost and age profile/possible resale value. Clearly the manager will have input at various stages of the...

    Radio Wales after the game

I’m not one to right players off (even after a full season) but it’ll be interesting to see what people’s end of season scores/grades are for the signings made last summer.

    Today's Ref

I assumed by Cabango’s reaction that he must have swiped his leg away. Haven’t watched it back yet but a strange reaction if he didn’t touch him.

Be surprised if we sold 2 of the 3 wingers we currently own (I guess you could count those out on loan too in fairness) but I agree that if they’re both starting 40+ games again next year we’re very unlikely to make the playoffs. Starting centre half and right back follows on from at least one...

10 game unbeaten home runs are about as good as it gets for mid table Championship sides, but it’s a shame it ended with that second half non event (both sides seemed pretty content to accept the 3-0 and move on). Small margins in the 1st half. Tyson scores and it’s maybe a different game...

And Bath (I think) didn’t used to use number 13 😅

    Good old Watford

I hadn’t looked at the fixtures. Maybe that’ll swing it in Hull’s favour if they pick up 6 points.

    Good old Watford

I’ve thought for a while that Ipswich will come second and Southampton will go up via the playoffs (not really groundbreaking two relegated clubs going back up I know!) Wrexham’s best chances is getting ahead of Hull IMO. Possibly a 3/4 way fight if you throw Derby & Watford in there too.

    FK Bodø/Glimt 🇳🇴

They were second best throughout the match tonight but how on earth the penalty for the 3rd goal was given I’ll never now. European and international football these days seems to be if it hits your hand it’s a penalty no matter what. Hell of a run for them this season though!

Ideally we need a defender that can play full back and centre back in the squad. We had it with Alan Tate last time we were promoted, maybe Lissah will be able to do that moving forward.

A few thoughts after the recent games

Great summary and agree with just about every word 👏

Fair point, although I’d rather be in a position where we’ve got players who are worth a significant fee as opposed to worrying about how to offload players with no value. Take it as a positive that we’re weighing up whether £15m is worth cashing in and reinvesting elsewhere.

    6 Nations 2026

Strangest tournament for a long time. Wales beat Italy who beat England who beat Wales Ireland beat Scotland who beat France who beat Ireland

Not sure if anyone wants to sell him? I certainly don’t but I’d be surprised if we turned down a significant fee for any of our players - which is the case for 99% of football clubs. The question for the decision makers is whether selling 1 to bring in 3/4 makes us more or less likely to make...
