It's hard to look at that today and think we are anywhere near a side with a realistic prospect of going up any time soon. We still need a couple of wingers, a number 10 and at least one good centre back.

You don't even need to go that far. This time next year if we are 11 points off 6th and 4 points off 8th, everyone will be getting excited about the possibility of making the playoffs. Nothing wrong with adding a bit of excitement for fans.
