• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

At the risk of getting shot down in flames- i believe Will Still has something about him. Enough to land a bigger job than ours
Failing at a basket case club should not necessarily be a deal breaker 🤔👍
You could be right, but I wouldn't like us to be the ones to take a punt. His media interviews at Saints were at times bizarre. When they very narrowly lost at Liverpool, the interviewer gave him a very easy 'out' that even though they'd lost they'd gone to Anfield and played very well, but instead of taking the bait he somehow managed to talk himself and the team down and ended up defending his credentials to stay in post. It was cringeworthy.

I think he's got a lot to learn, and I'd rather he did it somewhere else than here.

I thought another fan site & Vital said it was nowhere near 1M and that he was signing in 24hrs?

I suspect their source in the club told them it would not cost 1m because they did not like that news story being out there and they were probably telling the truth.

Kevin Muscat would be my pipedream at this point as he will be available after his team's last game on Sunday but it seems they are intent on doing this on the cheap.

All the positivity from snoop dog and modric ownership additions has slowly melted away and I bet theyre starting to regret getting involved in a club run by amateurs.
No doubt they’ll be distancing themselves from this mis-management.

What I don’t get especially with a football brain like Modric is why he (I think) hasn’t even suggested the club to get proper football people in running the club? Surely he knows this isn’t right having a commercial guy as chairman and an ex forum troll running things.

What's been mis-managed?

I agree that you can't write him off after a very short stint at Southampton considering his success elsewhere. Having said that, aren't we also a basket case club?

Are we really going to give him the time that he apparently needs to get everything operating the way he wants? I think we've seen with the Sheehan sacking that the board isn't open to giving people time.
Be all over still too
