    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Thank you though for all the memories

That will have something to do with DrP to be fair.
He was well into his tennis and I remember him saying he was head of tennis at Coral or similar and had links to players through it.

All good though, raising the profile of the club even further 👏👏
 
Why is he holding up our shirt?... bit random. Anything linked to Modric?

A quick google search shows Carlos Alcaraz is a big Real Madrid fan and has connections to Luka Modric, so I'd say that's the more likely source of this.
 
He was playing golf with Sergio Garcia, pretty sure he came to watch the swans when Pablo Hernandez was playing for us.

Modric, who spent years in Madrid undoubtedly regularly rubbing shoulders with Spain’s elite cultural and sporting icons or a poster on JA.net who…didn’t. Tough call.

Exactly. Doubt there's much more to this but know for a fact AW and Carlos are familiar with each other
 
Modric and Alcaraz are huge friends. Modric was in Alcaraz’ box at Wimbledon last year and Alcaraz was featured paying tribute to Modric prior to his las5 game for Madrid.

I don’t think it takes Agatha Christie to work out the connection with us.
