• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

This was a great performance today, we outplayed and outthought them all over the field. We defended like lions, Bango and Woods were superb.
And no feckin short passes from the keeper to players running towards their own goal under pressure. Rushie just put his laces through it every time and sent it back upfield. Brilliant.
And when we had the ball we tried to use it with purpose. When we lost the ball we pressed hard to get it back. Big energy today.

Quite so. Ronald is a revelation, oh for a tall aggressive striker to get on the end of his crosses.
Any more news on McBernie, Newquay?

Unless he’s injured he wasn’t in Sheffields squad today.

Anyone else surprised Patino didn't go for goal at the end there? Thought he would have backed himself to do a 60 yard pass under little pressure to hit a 24 foot wide target? He ended up just rolling it into their box to slow play down (which is fair enough) - unless that WAS his attempt to score, but it didn't look like he tried.

3 very well deserved points though a lot closer than it should have been. Did think we had a penalty shot for handball. Bashir had a very decent game at right back too. Ronald is a breathe of fresh air but lost his shooting boots on the plane :)

You mean Naughton at RB? He’s still a decent cover player even at his age. Give me him over Ashby any day of the week.

LW saying the short-corner routine we scored from was Sheehan's idea. Fair play to him for giving credit like that, most managers would have let it be assumed it was their idea
